A café with a game shelf
Boards is in our name. At Boards Café in Gikondo, Kigali, the board games sit right next to the coffee bar. Order a coffee, pick a game from our shelf and settle in with friends, family or colleagues. It is a relaxed way to spend an evening, a weekend afternoon or a lunch break.
What you can play
We keep classic games such as chess, draughts and cards, along with strategy games and lively party games. If you are not sure what to choose, tell our team how many people you are and how long you want to play, and we will suggest something.
Game nights and parties
Planning a birthday, a team outing or a celebration? You can book a table by WhatsApp. Tell us the occasion, the number of people and your preferred day and time. We also post game nights and special evenings in our upcoming events.
Coffee, food and clothes in one place
While you play, you can order from our full menu of coffee, tea, juices, pastries and meals. Boards Café is also a couture studio, so you can book a fitting for clothes made for you on the same visit, and our lounge is a calm place to work during the day.
